Innolith today announces that it has made two senior appointments as it opens the doors to customer engagements and prepares for expansion; Florian Wolf has been appointed as Innolith’s first ever Chief Financial Officer, while Nicole Roth takes up the position of Director of Sales in Innolith’s inaugural commercial role.

The new appointments come at the end of a period of deep technology development that has seen Innolith increase its battery energy density to a world beating 310 Wh/kg and open a new technology roadmap that will provide Innolith customers with batteries that can dramatically extend the range of EVs, cut car purchase costs and eliminate fire risk from batteries.

Florian Wolf joins Innolith having spent fourteen years in investment banking in London and brings deep sector expertise in the electric vehicle ecosystem and a wealth of experience in corporate finance to Innolith.  He joins from JP Morgan where he was an Executive Director within the firm’s Diversified Industries Investment Banking team and specialised in complex corporate finance deals for Automotive clients.

Nicole Roth has extensive commercial experience in battery and automotive sectors having worked with A123 Systems, Continental Systems and Renault Deutschland.  Her role will include the engagement of Innolith customers, liaison with OEM automotive manufacturers for the design-in and production of battery systems and the development of new e-mobility markets.

Innolith has reached a crossing point where our relentless focus on new battery technology development has delivered the breakthroughs, and we now switch to the industrialization and commercial marketing of the technology following a successful introduction of the new cell to the automotive OEMs this spring,” explains Konstantin Solodovnikov, CEO of Innolith AG.  “We have proven that we have the best research and development team in the industry, and we are now building the best finance and sales teams.”
